Rechargly Forms Strategic Alliance with Walker Wayland Australasia to Help Member Firms Take Control of Software Costs

Sydney, Australia - May 2026

Rechargly has formed a Strategic Alliance with Walker Wayland Australasia, one of Australia's most established accounting and professional services associations, to help its member firms take control of software costs.

Walker Wayland Australasia represents 22 member firms across 42 offices, with more than 700 professionals. Member firms are offered access to automated software disbursements through Xero, solving a problem that most firms deal with manually today.

The problem this solves

Most accounting and bookkeeping firms pay for software on behalf of their clients. Xero subscriptions, receipt capture tools, payroll platforms. The costs add up, but recovering those costs is a different story.

Invoices don't match. Plans change without notice. Fees get written off or missed entirely. It's a problem that gets worse as a firm grows.

Rechargly automates the full process. It tracks what each client is using, calculates the cost (including pro-rata and partial month charges), and feeds the correct amounts into Xero invoices. No spreadsheets. No manual reconciliation. No revenue quietly slipping through the cracks.

Why this Strategic Alliance matters

For Rechargly, this is the first major association-level Strategic Alliance. It marks a shift in how the product is reaching the market.

"We built Rechargly to solve a problem we kept hearing about from individual firms," said Alex Millar, co-founder of Rechargly. "We are seeing the same problem across dozens of firms and firms want one consistent solution. Walker Wayland is the first of several relationships we'll be announcing."

For Walker Wayland, the Strategic Alliance adds a practical tool to the resources already available to member firms.

"As with all areas of our Alliance program, our focus is on bringing strong options into the mix and giving our firms access to different tools, perspectives and opportunities as they evolve. Rechargly adds another practical option for firms exploring this space. Welcome Rechargly - it is good to have you with us!" - Walker Wayland Board of Directors
